Principal Communications Associate

And now, our Marketing & Communications team is looking to add a Principal Communications Associate:

A typical day in the life of this role:

  • Draft a communication promoting a new technology amenity in our workspace, and then an email about construction at one of our locations.

  • Brainstorm with a teammate on how to creatively introduce a new amenity to employees.

  • Create a change management communications plan for employees moving to a new workspace.

  • Check-in with a portfolio manager to stay on top of what’s going on in the region and where your team can help.

  • Partner with other Workplace Solutions colleagues to identify impacts to the employee experience on a project.

  • Look for creative ways to describe the ins and outs of building management to an employee audience in a relatable tone and language. A deep knowledge of pop culture is always a plus!

  • Proofread a communication for a teammate.

You’ll need to wear many hats, including:

  • Writer : You’ll draft day-to-day employee-facing communications as they relate to building management and workspace environment.

  • Problem-solver : You partner with your customers to understand their intent and goals, develop plans that meets their needs, and relentlessly pursue options to deliver stellar results.

  • Storyteller . You develop clear and persuasive stories about life in our workspaces.

  • Juggler . You don’t get overwhelmed or flustered easily. You keep track of multiple projects at once, manage your time efficiently and appropriately, and communicate scheduling with your manager and the broader team.

Let’s get down to basics:

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, communications,or Public Relations industry.

  • At least 5 years of experience in developing communications tools

  • At least 5 years of experience in organizing and managing multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or Communications.

  • 7 years of experience in developing communications for a variety of media & audiences and background in marketing, communications or copywriting.

  • 7 years of experience in direct marketing, advertising, or Public Relations industry.
