Experience Designer Commercial Site
As an Experience Designer on the Commercial Bank Design team, you will work closely with other designers, strategists, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver and maintain the Capital One Commercial Bank website.

Commercial banking is ripe for innovation. Internal systems could benefit from greater efficiency and collaboration and in the long-term, from artificial intelligence. Externally there are very few digital touchpoints for commercial banking clients so there’s an extensive opportunity for design to improve industry practices.
This role reports into the DIrector/Head of Design Ops in Commercial Design team and will work closely with our Commercial Bank Marketing and Brand teams to ensure that our Commercial Bank website is best in class, clearly communicating the value of our products and the expertise of our teams.
This role will be responsible for building and managing an intuitive and innovative public-facing website to help Capital One’s commercial clients & prospects achieve their business goals. We're looking for someone to guide cross-functional teams through the process of launching a new website, setting experiments and using validated learnings to optimize the experience and build new digital capabilities for our Commercial bank.
In this role working on the Commercial Bank website, you will:
Partner with/manage the relationship with our agency of record as we transition them off the Commercial Bank website project.
Collaborate with product managers, marketing, and brand, to establish and execute the vision for the website.
Build empathy and be an advocate for users through participation in human-centered research and design.
Translate user needs, style guides, and requirements into elegant solutions for complex problems.
Leverage analytics tools to measure success, present opportunities, and support decision-making.
Utilize Lean and Agile methodologies
Present research findings and design concepts to designers and product partners
Be a leader and mentor; you’ll challenge, grow and mentor peers and contribute to fostering a collaborative team spirit.
At least 5 years of experience with UI/UX design
At least 5 years of experience working on customer facing/marketing websites
At least 3 years of experience designing digital products or at least 3 years of experience designing omnichannel services
Experience working with Agile and Lean product development teams
Experience with standard/current digital design tools (e.g. Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Invision, etc.)
7+ years of experience with user experience design
7+ years of experience with marketing/customer facing website design
7+ years of experience designing digital products or 7+ years of experience designing omnichannel services
5+ years of experience leading projects and other designers
5+ years of experience with information architecture
5+ years of experience creating prototypes at various levels of fidelity
