Brand Portal

Capital One’s Brand Department is at the center of curating the Capital One brand as we seek to lead and inspire the entire enterprise to deliver a breakaway financial services brand. The department has enterprise-wide scope and works closely with the senior executive team, business lines (LOB’s), and functional areas to deploy our Brand.

The Brand Department is building and managing the technology toolkit to enable a distinctive brand. The Principle Associate role on this team will help influence, shape and manage the growing suite of platforms and products used by the department and our marketing partners. Working with the Product Manager, creative team and technology team, this position manages the configuration, governance and enhancement of the Capital One Brand Portal (a site that educates and inspires the Enterprise and our brand agency partners) ensuring optimal performance and user experience. This role will also help achieve the Brand Portal goals to coach, connect and enable associates to create a distinctive brand. The Brand Portal Manager also works with the Product Manager and team members to support the Workflows and the Digital Asset Management platforms.

Summary

  • Principal Associate, Capital One Brand Portal

  • Collaborates with Product manager and technical team to manage the following:

  • User experience

  • Configuration, functionality and performance

  • Taxonomy

  • User groups, user profiles and permissions

  • Policies and processes

  • Perform ongoing testing

  • Maintain the domain on the CMS and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity

  • Analyze platform metrics, capture user feedback and recommend new features and functionality

  • Coordinate with Product Manager and technology team for new software releases and system upgrades

  • Communicate platform issues to Product Manager

  • Escalate networking and operating system problems to the technology team

  • Workflows platform

  • Create new Brand Workflows and processes

  • Maintain and update Brand Workflows as needed

  • Work with vendor on product enhancements to meet the Brand Department’s business needs

  • Collaborate with Product Manager, technical teams, and vendors on the development and implementation of new platforms and tools

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Military Experience

  • 2 or more years of digital experience

  • 1 or more years of digital platform / product administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical background with some marketing experience

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Proficiency in Agile working environments

  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and data analytics
