Senior Associate, Marketing Strategy

Capital One, a Fortune Magazine “100 Best Companies to Work For,” is seeking an innovative Senior Associate to develop our creative strategy and learning agenda for Card customer management. This role is responsible for driving creative execution aligned with Capital One’s long term strategies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take your marketing, strategy, data and technical skills to the next level.

  • Lead development of creative across channels (with internal Creative teams or agency partners) to ensure marketing is integrated, on-brand, high quality, aligned to our strategic intent and delivered on schedule.

  • Translate and communicate business intent in a directive manner Creative teams can act on.

  • Work cross-functionally to improve messaging and design considerations based on test and learn results.

  • Write clear and concise test documents and test plans, driving continued creative optimization across channels and segments.

  • Champion brand standards, ensuring that all communications are in line with their respective brand personas, voice and style guides.

  • Apply deep consumer insights to customer communications

  • Flexibility and attention to detail, must be able to manage multiple projects and navigate changing priorities while maintaining excellent work.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience of marketing experience on agency or client-side

  • At least 2 years experience partnering with creative agencies (internal or external)

  • At least 2 years developing creative optimization frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Marketing, Business or Communications

  • 5 years experience in financial services marketing

  • 5 years experience driving creative strategy and optimization plans
