Sr. Manager, Commercial Account Services, Richmond, VA

Commercial Operations (CML Ops) is one of the largest divisions in the Commercial Bank, this teams scope is horizontal across the bank and as such it supports numerous critical processes and transactions. By incubating innovative solutions and embracing technology, this team creates an unforgettable and unparalleled experience for our associates and clients. One of the most impactful groups in the CML Ops team is the Enterprise Payments and Treasury Operations (EPTO) team.

The EPTO team manages all of the inbound and outbound payments for the commercial bank. Our work can range processing Wires to ACH to disbursements as well as transactions for our clients treasury products. The team is currently growing and searching for a Sr. Manager, Commercial Account Services.

Job Description & Ideal Candidate:

As a Senior Manager, you will lead a team of professionals in delivering flawlessly executed transactional processes on behalf of Commercial clients. You will develop a highly-engaged workforce, create and modify processes to achieve compliance and scale, and collaborate with smart and passionate leaders to influence the future target operating model.

We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, and passionate people leaders who excel in a team environment and are experts in process management and improvement. This individual will have demonstrated that they have managed high performing teams, resulting in high associate engagement, excellent internal business partner relationships, and best in class customer operational results. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual’s responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and leading a high performing team of associates

  • Mitigating risk and maintaining compliance through installation of operational controls

  • Designing and producing metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness

  • Driving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes

  • Providing subject matter expertise on processes when representing the department in projects and other meetings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Process management

  • At least 2 years of experience in Project management

  • At least 2 years of experience in People management

  • At least 2 years of experience in Relationship management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Management

  • At least 5 years of experience in Process management

  • At least 5 years of experience in Project management

  • At least 5 years of experience in People management

  • At least 5 years of experience in Relationship management
