Sr. Tech Writer, Cyber Architecture
We are looking for an experienced candidate to develop and curate technical documents for the CyberSecurity Architecture team. The candidate would be responsible for building and organizing the team’s critical information assets in appropriate frameworks to facilitate efficient storage, maintenance, and retrieval of information.
The candidate would work closely with enterprise data architects, product engineers, product owners, and internal customers to help develop, capture, and organize content including technical help guides, roadmaps/decisions, product information (white papers/information guides etc.), and data architectures related to CapitalOne's cyber security.
Daily jobs could include:
Help Cyber build effective technical documentation for our products and services
Maintain knowledge repositories and processes that facilitate capturing critical information
Promote knowledge management best practices, including training and internal consultation
Continually analyze the effectiveness of our knowledge management strategies and suggest improvements where necessary
Facilitate the dissemination of knowledge outside the Cyber organization through connections, coordination, and developing communication channels
Your experiences and interests likely include:
Strong aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of organizational, planning, and time management skills
Thinking about information in a structured, hierarchical way
Being an experienced, independent thinker with proven document management and technical writing experience
Results focused even when managing multiple simultaneous projects
Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
At least 4 years of professional experience in a knowledge management or technical writing
At least 3 years of experience in using information management tools such as confluence
At least 1 year of experience working within an agile delivery environment
7+ years of professional experience in a knowledge management or technical writing
4+ years of experience in using information management tools such as confluence
2+ years experience working within an agile delivery environment
Experience with project management
Technical development experience (software development, network engineering, system administration)
