Supply Chain Analyst

The Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) Analyst’s primary responsibility is to provide decision support and analysis and information to the Enterprise Supplier Management organization. This will include model building and scenario analysis in support of strategic buying decisions, spend data analysis, reporting, market trend analysis, and operational performance management.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and influencing skills in order to effectively:

  • Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights

  • Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior audiences

Analysis and Deal Support

  • Ensure analytical rigor is incorporated into key sourcing engagements.

  • Model existing cost structure to enable baseline comparisons

  • Work with team to define and develop supplier selection model

  • Calculate cost impacts

  • Drive decision making process to ensure optimal decision is made

Reporting

  • Utilize Alteryx and Tableau to efficiently and accurately produce weekly and monthly reporting, including TPM Actions, Contracting Metrics, Spend, Vendor-Specific Tracking, and AE Reporting (Prior experience with these tools preferred but not required)

  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure reports are accurate, timely, and understood

  • Support the continuing development of new dashboards, reports, and capabilities for the organization

Cost Savings Validations and Key Deals Ownership

  • Perform cost savings validations for completed deals and work with Finance to obtain validation and approval

  • Own the QA of the Key Deals system and ensure data integrity and availability

Market Research and Insight

  • Leverage Gartner and Forrester to provide relevant reporting and information to the team

  • Coordinate Analyst calls with these services as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in financial or operations analysis

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years’ experience in financial analysis

  • 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

  • 1 year experience with Tableau, Alteryx, or other BI tools
